This charming debut has the uncommon quality of being backloaded. Listening occasionally to the first three tracks brings me powerfully back to 2021, a very vulnerable period, which feels a long time ago. (I hear the rest of Phantom Handshakes' oeuvre on the daily!) Drift Away - simple as a snowdrop - infallibly, heart-wrenchingly beautiful - is surely my favourite song of all time.

The low end on this thing is CRUSHING! The Dos Brujos sound is always evolving, and this is an excellent evolution. Glorious way to cap off this weird year and a great soundtrack to the times ahead.
